Felony arrests

Assault — Shaun Richard Baker, 39, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Baker on a charge of felony fourth-degree assault and contempt. He as lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Drugs — Jesse George Taylor, 34, of the 600 block of Chestnut Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Taylor on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged Monday in jail on $5,000 bail.

Fugitive — Martina Heinze, 52, of the 2400 block of Salyer Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Heinze on a fugitive warrant out of Idaho. She was lodged Monday in jail without bail.

Drugs — Douglas James Atchley, 29, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Atchley on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and for failing to appear on a previous disorderly conduct charge. He was lodged Monday in jail on $10,000 bail.

Assault — Whitney Emil Stinson, 38, no known address. Central Point police Monday arrested Stinson on charges of second-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged Monday in jail on $115,000 bail.

Drugs — Dillon Scott Robertson, 24, of the 6400 block of Downing Road, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Monday arrested Robertson on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and for failing to appear on a misdemeanor theft charge. He was lodged Monday in jail on $8,000 bail.

Drugs — Garth Coleman Smith, 40, of the 1000 block of Gibbon Road, Central Point. Phoenix police Monday arrested Smith on charges of possession of methamphetamine, two counts of driving while suspended and six counts of failing to appear on previous charges. He was lodged Monday in jail on $48,000 bail.

Crime reports

Vandalism — 1100 block of Court Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 2:24 a.m. Monday of vandalism to a lottery machine. The loss was valued at $2,000.

Theft — 2200 Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report at 4:28 p.m. Monday of the theft of a camera, lenses and two Go Pro cameras from a vehicle. The loss was valued at $12,632.
