Felony arrests

Assault — Kayla Lee Walker, 26, of the 600 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Walker on charges of assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, interfering with a police report, unauthorized departure and on a detainer for violating the conditions of her probation on a previous drug conviction. She was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Drugs — Gregory Stewart Killingsworth, 37, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Killingsworth on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and for violating the conditions of his probation on a previous drug-possession charge. He was lodged Monday in jail without bail.

Sex-offender registration — Tyreese Lausaun Key, 21, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Key on a warrant charging him with failing to register as a sex offender. He was lodged Monday in jail on $7,500 bail.

Drugs — Edward James Thomas Torsney, 27, no known address. Talent police Monday arrested Torsney on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and warrants charging him with failing to appear on two previous drug cases. He was lodged Monday in jail on $15,000 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 2100 block of Crestwood Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:05 a.m. Sunday of the theft of four chainsaws and two blowers. The loss was valued at $5,400.

Theft — Mile marker 23 on the Bear Creek Greenway, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:23 a.m. Monday of the theft of vinyl billboard wraps. The loss was reported at $1,500.

Theft — 2800 block of Nansen Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 9:57 a.m. Monday of the theft of a laptop, sleeping bag and miscellaneous other items from a vehicle. The loss was valued at $1,550.
