Felony arrests

Theft —Tim Allan Lewis, 63, of the 500 block of Wren Ridge Drive, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Lewis Tuesday on an additional felony charge of first-degree theft. Jackson County sheriff's deputies originally arrested Lewis June 25, 2016 on felony charges of first-degree sodomy, first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree unlawful sexual penetration and first- and second-degree kidnapping. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday on more than $1 million bail.

Drugs — Nathaniel Terrance Harley Golden, 20, of the 3100 block of Avenue G, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Golden Tuesday on a felony warrant charging him with possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Wilbert Ronald Crawley, 46, of the 300 block of Chestnut Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Crawley Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing meth, resisting arrest and interfering with police. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Ramie Lawrence Kezer, 53, no known address. Medford police arrested Kezer Tuesday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine, and delivering meth within 1,000 feet of a school. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $500,000 bail.

Drugs — Donald Patrick Myers, 38, of the 400 block of West Pine Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Myers Tuesday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $40,000 bail.

Drugs — Demaris Nichole Lightle, 23, no known address. Central Point police arrested Lightle Tuesday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.

Impaired Driving — Billy Joe Forrester Jr., 55, of the 900 block of North Central Avenue, Medford. On Tuesday, Forrester made an appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants and misdemeanor counts of reckless driving and driving while suspended. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Lashawnda Renee Reynolds, 27, of the first block of South Orange Street, Medford. On Tuesday, Reynolds made her initial court appearance on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on her own recognizance.

Assault — James Romain Swindler, 23, of the 700 block of Union Avenue, Medford. On Tuesday, Swindler made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Manufacturing Marijuana — David Jonathan Smith, 35, of the 500 block of Barnum Drive, Phoenix. Medford police arrested Smith Tuesday on a felony charge of unlawfully manufacturing marijuana, misdemeanor charges of unlawfully possessing marijuana and second-degree theft, and for violating his probation on a prior meth-possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Felon in Possession of a Weapon — Marcos Steven Lizarazu, 37, of the 7000 block of Butte Falls Highway, Eagle Point. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Lizarazu Tuesday on a felony charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, and on misdemeanor charges of pointing a firearm at another, menacing and carrying a concealed firearm. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $32,500 bail.

Theft — Christian Fernando Orozco, 22, no known address. Medford police arrested Orozco Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree theft and on three misdemeanor counts of second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $22,500 bail.

Burglary — Andrew Antonio James, 29, of the 300 block of Haven Street, Medford. Medford police arrested James Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft, second-degree criminal mischief and first-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $35,000 bail.

Crime reports

Burglary — 600 block of Medford Center, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 9:04 a.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included a DeWalt impact drill and drill-driver set in a bag, a Bosch Power Box charger radio, a 15-gallon propane tank heater, a five-gallon bucket containing hand tools and two extra DeWalt batteries in a bag.  The loss was valued at $780.

Theft — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:45 a.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included 12-volt and 24-volt batteries. The loss and damage to the vehicle's luggage bay door was valued at $800.

Theft — 1100 block of Stowe Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 12:51 p.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included a Nike backpack, white windbreaker jacket, gray wallet, keys and accordion binder containing personal documents. The loss and damage to the vehicle's seat and driver-side door was valued at $482.

Theft — 1500 block of Hollyhock Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of package theft at 4:06 p.m. Monday. Electronics valued at $2,257 were reported stolen.
