Felony arrests

Drugs — Sean Saipani Eli, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Eli Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a warrant for failing to appear in court on a prior charge of interfering with police and for violating his parole on a prior meth-possession conviction.  He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Saturday without bail.

Driving While Suspended — Vincent Paul Durcan, 38, of Portland. Ashland police arrested Durcan Saturday on a felony charge of driving while suspended or revoked. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Joshua Leonard Lee McCauley, 24, no known address. Central Point police arrested McCauley Saturday on a felony charge of possessing a Schedule I controlled substance, and on misdemeanor counts of second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $15,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Maria Louise Jones, 39, of the 600 block of Rose Valley Court, Central Point. Medford police arrested Jones Saturday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and on a sanction for violating her probation on a prior methamphetamine-possession conviction. She was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Theft — Matthew Scott Eidswick, 46, of the 2200 block of Ruhl Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Eidswick Saturday on felony charges of first-degree theft and felon in possession of a restricted weapon, and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $20,000 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 1600 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:44 p.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included $14,000 worth of sunglasses, a rose gold iPhone 6 and an iPad owned by the store. The loss was valued at $14,900.

Theft — 200 block of South Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:16 a.m. Saturday. Items reported stolen included a silver MacBook Pro with royal blue hard case, black and blue satchel and Bose Bluetooth earbuds. The loss was valued at $3,150.

Theft — 2400 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 10:38 a.m. Saturday. A black camera body and two lenses were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $1,200.
