Felony arrests

Coercion — Kyle V. James, 51, of Crescent City, California. Medford police arrested James Thursday on a felony charge of coercion and on misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, strangulation and harassment. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Coercion — Conrad McNair, 47, of the 2500 block of Thorn Oak Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested McNair Friday on a felony charge of coercion, and on misdemeanor charges of strangulation and harassment. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Identity Theft — Stephanie Sue Koontz, 33, of the 500 block of Fairmount Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Koontz Friday on felony charges of identity theft, first-degree forgery, first-degree possession of a forged instrument and first-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Jennifer Marie Wooldridge, 34, no known address. Phoenix police arrested Wooldridge Friday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing a stolen vehicle, and for violation her parole on a prior marijuana-possession conviction. She was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Eden Marie Marks, 25, no known address. Jacksonville police arrested Marks Friday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, on an out-of-county warrant charging her with failing to appear in court on a prior second-degree theft charge and on a sanction for violating her probation on a prior heroin-possession conviction. She was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Crime reports

Vandalism — 400 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism at 8:43 a.m. Thursday. A downstairs window was reported broken and a front door had a contact break that left the window intact. The damage was valued at $950.

Theft — 3600 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a shoplifted Troy-Bilt generator at 10:42 a.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $899.

Theft — 1200 block of Progress Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 12:41 p.m. Thursday. Two bolt-action .22 rifles, one made by Ruger, were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $600.

Theft — 1000 block of Medford Center, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen bike at 7:18 p.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $170.

Vandalism — 900 block of South Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a business' exterior wall at 5:13 a.m. Friday. The damage was valued at $2,000.

Theft — 1600 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen vehicle at 1:53 p.m. Friday. Items inside the vehicle included a pair of Ray-Ban prescription sunglasses, hand tools and a Graco car seat. The loss was valued at $650.

Theft — 2200 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 3:44 p.m. Friday. A purse with blue, green and yellow floral pattern and a pink iPhone 7 Plus were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $315.
