Felony arrests

Drugs — Christopher Allen Rose, 33, no known address. Phoenix police arrested Rose Monday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft, for violating his parole on a prior Schedule II controlled substance-possession charge, out-of-county warrants for failing to appear in court on prior charges of forgery and providing false information to police, and on a California fugitive warrant. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Andrew James Cook, 39, no known address. Ashland police arrested Cook Monday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous second-degree trespassing charge. He was booked in the jail Monday and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.

Sex Offender Registration — Mathew Wayne Walker, 27, of the 1000 block of Southeast Ashley Place, Grants Pass. Medford police arrested Walker Monday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender and a misdemeanor count of second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail Monday and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Supplying Contraband — Amanda Marie Sharp, 23, of Yreka, California. Central Point police arrested Sharp Tuesday on felony charges of supplying contraband and possessing heroin, a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous second-degree theft charge and on a California fugitive warrant. She was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Weapons — Jesse Collin Pereira, 42, of the 2900 block of West Griffin Creek Road, Medford. On Tuesday, Pereira made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony unlawful use of a weapon charges, and on misdemeanor counts of menacing, fourth-degree assault and strangulation.

Marijuana — Terry James Coopman, 28, of the 4000 block of Winnetka Road, White City. On Tuesday, Coopman made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of manufacturing a cannabinoid extract and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree criminal mischief and reckless burning. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Cierrah Kay Rose, 22, of North Bend. On Tuesday, Rose made her initial court appearance on felony charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine, and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on her own recognizance.

Contraband — Richard Devere Grant, 54, of the 6500 block of Blackwell Road, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Grant Tuesday on felony charges of supplying contraband and possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault and a misdemeanor warrant charging him with harassment. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Coercion — Sky Dominick Real, 22, of the 500 block of West Sixth Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Real Tuesday on felony charges of coercion and fourth-degree assault, misdemeanor charges of violating a no-contact order, fourth-degree assault, interfering with police and harassment, and on court detainer on a prior felony fourth-degree assault charge. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Maryssa Emilee Hendricks, 28, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Hendricks Tuesday on felony charges of manufacturing and delivering heroin, possessing methamphetamine and on a felony warrant charging her with possessing heroin. She was lodged in jail Tuesday on $57,500 bail.

Crime reports

Burglary — 1600 block of Kings Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 5:05 a.m. Monday. Two cash register drawers and several packs of cigarettes were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $601.

Theft — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of an orange and black Kubota skid steer loader at 8:10 a.m. Monday. The loss was valued at $80,000.

Theft — 200 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen brown and silver HP laptop in a Victorinox laptop case. The loss was valued at $1,100.

Theft — 200 block of North Ross Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:39 a.m. Tuesday. A 12-volt battery was reported stolen, and the loss was valued at $144.

Theft — 1900 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 11:25 a.m. Tuesday. Damage to the vehicle's passenger window was valued at $210.
