A 15-year-old juvenile was cited by Medford police for reckless burning Sunday after setting a clump of cottonwood on fire at about 3:25 p.m. on the bike path in Bear Creek Park near Barnett Road. The fire burned the teen's hands, causing him to drop it and catch nearby brush on fire.
