Felony arrests

  • Theft — Anthony James Blank, 27, of the 1200 block of West 11th Street, Medford. Blank appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first-degree theft. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Burglary — Michael Clayton Miller, 36, of the 800 block of Lozier Lane, Medford. Miller appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with second-degree burglary, second-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Drugs — Katherine Lynne Morris, 51, of the 900 block of Saling Avenue, Medford. Morris appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of methamphetamine, distribution of methamphetamine and manufacture of methamphetamine. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Theft — Jesse James Gasche, 25, of the 1800 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Gasche appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Criminal mischief — William Joseph Paris Shepard, 20, of the 800 block of East Pine Street, Central Point. Shepard appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first-degree criminal mischief. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Theft — Lesley Dea Beed, 38, of the 15000 block of Hoerster Lane, Rogue River. Beed appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with first-degree theft. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Assault — David Alan Wilson, 25, of the 2100 block of Brookhurst Street, Medford. Wilson appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with third-degree assault, two counts of fourth-degree assault and reckless driving. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Theft, vehicle theft — Nikolai David Skudlarek, 20, of the 100 block of Newtown Street, Medford. Skudlarek appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Vehicle theft, theft, criminal mischief — Jason Andrew Sharrer, 20, of the 100 block of Newtown Street, Medford. Sharrer appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, first-degree theft and first-degree criminal mischief. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Warrant —Ezekiel Charles Lindsay, 20, of Spokane, Wash. A Jackson County sheriff's deputy Thursday arrested Lindsay on warrants charging him with failure to register as a sex offender and a probation violation. He was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Sodomy, sex abuse, rape — John Aaron Andrews, 68, of the 2600 block of Howard Avenue, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Andrews on two counts of first-degree sodomy, first-degree rape and three counts of first-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in jail on $4 million bail.
  • Contraband — Rory Christopher Holmes, 39, no known address. Ashland police Thursday arrested Holmes on charges of possession of synthetic drugs, two counts of supplying contraband and second-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail on $29,000 bail.
