Felony arrests

Forgery — Randall Connor Fitzpatrick, 34, of the 600 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Fitzpatrick Tuesday on a felony charges of first-degree forgery and first-degree possessing a forged instrument. He remained held in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $7,500 bail.

Burglary — Kenny Wayne Long, 56, of the 1900 block of Hutchins Circle, Medford. Medford police arrested Long Tuesday on felony warrants charging him with first-degree burglary and coercion, misdemeanor warrants for third-degree theft, stalking, harassment, telephonic harassment and violating a no-contact order, and on an out-of-county warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous driving under the influence of intoxicants charge. He remained held in jail Wednesday on $40,000 bail.

Sex Offender — James Richard Molter, 29, of the 2000 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Molter Tuesday on a felony warrant charging him with failing to report as a sex offender. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday.

Drugs — Nicholas Ryan Brod, 21, of the 3000 block of Tahitian Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Brod Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and for violating his parole on a prior second-degree robbery conviction. He remained held in jail Wednesday without bail.

Theft — Bronson Lerew Stickler, 18, of the 700 block of Northwest C Street, Grants Pass. On Wednesday, Stickler made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of first-degree theft and a misdemeanor charge of concealed possession of a firearm. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Monique Kelley Duval-VonMerta, 38, no known address. On Wednesday, Duval-VonMerta made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Theft — Carmen Marie Jones, 30, of the 100 block of South Haskell Street, Central Point. Medford police arrested Jones Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree theft. She was held in jail Wednesday on $7,500 bail.

Drugs — Daniel James Burda, 36, no known address. Phoenix police arrested Burda Wednesday on a felony warrant charging him with possessing methamphetamine. He was held in jail Wednesday on $7,500 bail.

Forgery — Tracy Ann Wyatt, 43, of the 300 block of Chestnut Street, Medford. On Wednesday, Wyatt made her initial court appearance on felony charges of first-degree forgery and first-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Sex Offender — Tony S. Rueth, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Rueth Wednesday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior methamphetamine possession conviction. He was held in jail Wednesday without bail.


Crime report

Theft — 1800 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7:08 a.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a brown Columbia Sportswear wallet, a Social Security card and a debit card. The loss was valued at $42.

Vandalism — 900 block of Alba Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a motel room door at 11:27 a.m. Tuesday. The damage was valued at $1,800.

Theft — 700 block of Cardley Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. A Lenovo ThinkPad laptop valued at $500 was reported stolen.

Theft — 700 block of Monroe Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen cash at 5:44 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $1,309.
