Cedar Lodge allegedly robbed at gunpoint

Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed the Cedar Lodge in Medford.

Medford police responded at 9 p.m. Saturday to an armed robbery call at the Cedar Lodge, located at 518 Riverside Drive, Medford, according to a news release from Medford Police Officer Don Lane.

Several officers responded to the area and found the suspect had left before police arrived.

Investigation revealed the suspect entered the front office and brandished a handgun. He demanded the clerk provide him with the money from the business register. The clerk complied and the man left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk was not harmed during the incident, Lane said.

The suspect is described as a white male between 40 and 50 years old. He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing sunglasses, a blue bandanna, a dark-colored T-shirt and jeans, Lane said. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact Medford Police detectives at 774-2230.
