Amanda Jane Thomas and Gary Michael Miller were married Aug. 8 on private riverfront property in Central Point. Lee Korner of Trail Christian Fellowship officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Rex and Patricia Thomas of Central Point. A 2005 graduate of South Medford High School, she is pursuing a degree in education at Western Oregon University in Monmouth.

The groom is the son of Michael and Barbara Miller of Central Point. A 2003 graduate of Crater High School, he received a bachelor's degree in health and physical education in 2008 from Southern Oregon University in Ashland. He is pursuing a master's degree in education at Western Oregon University in Monmouth.

Man of honor was the bride's brother, Chris Thomas of Central Point. Bridesmaids were Jordan Glanz of Medford and Yuki Kuroda of Las Vegas.

Best men were the groom's cousins, Bill Webber of New York City and A.J. Nichols of Medford. Groomsmen were Logan Foster of Medford and Shawn Ogle of Central Point.

Flower girl was the groom's niece, Kara Cook of Puyallup, Wash. Ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Aiden Cook of Puyallup, Wash.

Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at the riverfront wedding site.

After a two-week luxury trip to Orlando, Fla., the newlyweds are living in Salem.
