Caley Sue Nordahl and José "Tito" Soriano were married July 4 at the Ashland Springs Hotel in Ashland.

The bride is the daughter of Elden and Marijo Nordahl of Florence. A 2001 graduate of Siuslaw High School, she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology, followed by a master's degree in teaching in 2006 from Southern Oregon University in Ashland. She is an elementary school teacher with the Medford School District.

The groom is the son of José Soriano of Ashland and the late Juana Soriano. A graduate of Ashland High School, he earned a bachelor's degree in computer science in 1998 from Southern Oregon University. He is a computer programmer with the Ashland School District.

Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Jessica Nordahl of Eugene. Bridesmaids were Michelle Young of Happy Valley, the groom's sister, Tita Soriano of Talent, Robin Bryant of Bend, the bride's sister-in-law, Rachel Nordahl of Ashland, the bride's cousin, Erin Owings of Redlands, Calif., the bride's sister-in law, Dana Nordahl of Vernonia, Stephanie Johnston of Portland, Hadley Roe of Florence and Ellen Myers of Eugene.

Best man was the groom's brother, Filigonio Soriano of Eugene. Groomsmen were Jarrod Cota of Talent, Mike Wong of Ashland, Ryan Thomas of Orange County, Calif., Lance Mimnaugh of Ogden, Utah, Scott Mimnaugh of Santiago, Chile, Odell Bushnell of Portland, Brandon Simmons of Portland, the groom's brother, Sigifredo Soriano of Talent and Mark Miller of Medford.

Flower girl was the bride's niece, Bailey Nordahl of Vernonia.

Ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Hunter Nordahl of Vernonia.

Following the ceremony, the parents of the newlyweds hosted a reception at the Ashland Springs Hotel.

The newlyweds plan to take a wedding trip to Hawaii this Christmas. They are living in Talent.
