Karen Lee Workman and Douglas Wright were married May 17, 2015, at The Riverhouse in Shady Cove. The groom's brother David Wright officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Albert and Laura Workman of Central Point. She is a 1981 graduate of Medford Senior High School. She currently works as a surgical coordinator for Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford.
The groom is the son of Jim and Judy Wright of Medford. He is a 1984 graduate of Ashland High School and attended Oregon State University. He works as an independent general contractor.
Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Laurel Workman of Central Point. Bridesmaids were the bride's daugther, Amanda Diehl of Pleasant Hill, Calif., the bride's cousin, Carrie Auzenne of Medford, and the bride's friend, Tonay Maudlin of Jacksonville.
The best man was the groom's father, Jim Wright of Medford. Groomsmen were the groom's brother Steven Wright of Portland, the groom's cousin Mike Milhoan of Medford and the bride's father, Albert Workman, of Central Point.
The bride was given away by the bride's son, Benton Hall, of the U.S. Army.
Following the ceremony, a reception hosted by the bride and groom, along with family and friends, was held at The Riverhouse.
After a honeymoon in the Virgin Islands, the newlyweds are living in Central Point.
