The bride is the daughter of Jeannette Hale (Jani) and Steven C. Hale of Jacksonville. She is a 1991 graduate of North Medford High School, a 2002 graduate of Southern Oregon University with a bachelor's degree in art and a 2005 graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York City with an MFA in illustration as visual essay. She works as operations manager of the School of Visual Arts galleries department in New York City.
Lombardi is the son of Joseph Pell Lombardi and Nan Hall Lombardi, both of New York City.
He is a 1987 graduate of the Buxton School in Williamstown, Mass., and a 2008 graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA in art. He works as a construction project manager for Joseph Pell Lombardi, Architects, in New York City.
Maid of honor was friend Shoshana Ostberg of New York City.
Bridesmaids were sister Jocelyn Mendelssohn of Springfield and friend Rose Viggiano of Novato, Calif. Junior bridesmaid was niece Maia Mendelssohn of Springfield.
Best man was friend Rahul D. Shah of New York City.
Groomsmen were friends Jay Stewart and Jeremy Freeman, both of Brooklyn.
A reception hosted by the groom's father followed the ceremony at the grounds of the Octagon House. Following a honeymoon in Rome, Tuscany and Venice, Italy, the newlyweds are living in Irvington at the Armour-Stiner Octagon House.
