Jennifer Marie Colgan and Kacy Devin Carter were married April 5 at The Oregon Gardens in Silverton. Larry Bingham officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Dwynann Colgan of Tualatin. A 2003 graduate of Tualatin High School, she received a bachelor's degree in communications in 2007 from Oregon State University in Corvallis. She is the communications and safety manager at Kerr Contractors, Inc., in Woodburn.

The groom is the son of Tom and Glenne Carter of Medford. A 1998 graduate of North Medford High School, she received a bachelor's degree in construction engineering management in 2002 from Oregon State University. He is the project manager with Kerr Contractors, Inc., in Woodburn.

Maid of honor was the bride's sister, MaryLou Colgan of Tualatin. Bridesmaids were the bride's cousin, Laura Herberger of Canby, the groom's sister-in-law, Joanna Carter of Central Point, and Kate Kunnert of Tualatin.

Best man was the groom's brother, Kyle Carter of Central Point. Groomsmen were Jake Bakker of Medford, Curt Newell of Eugene, and the bride's brother, Tyler Colgan of Tualatin.

Flower girl was Halle Kerr of Yamhill.

Ring bearer was the bride's cousin, Jacob Hodges of Salem.

Candlelighters were Nicole Campbell and Gabi Duarte, both of Tualatin.

Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at the Oregon Gardens in Silverton.

After an eight day Caribbean cruise, the newlyweds are living in Hubbard.
