Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

Great Vespers will begin the weekly service schedule at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 17 at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z. Sunday services begin at 8 a.m. March 18 with Matins prayers, followed at 9:30 a.m. by Divine Liturgy. A meat- and dairy-free Lenten potluck meal will be shared after the services. At 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, Lenten Matins prayers will be offered. At 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, a Liturgy of the Pre-Sanctified Gifts will be served, followed at 7:30 p.m. by a light Lenten potluck supper. Center for Spiritual Living Rogue Valley

The Rev. Kimberly Hawkins will explore the difference between requests made by your personality and those made by your soul, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 18, at Center for Spiritual Living Rogue Valley, at The Scottish Rites Center, 3581 Lear Way, Medford. St. Mark’s Episcopal Church

Holy Eucharist will be celebrated at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday, March 18, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 140 N. Oakdale Ave., Medford. At 9:15 a.m., following coffee and refreshments, the Rev. First Presbyterian Church

The informal service features more contemporary music led by the Son Shine Singers in a casual atmosphere. Community Celtic Evensong and Communion will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 44 N. Second St., Ashland. The theme of the quiet, candlelight and reflective service is Holy Paths, reflected through Celtic harp, poetry, readings and music. The Rev. Anne Bartlett will lead the worship. The Bahai’s of Ashland and the Rogue Valley will offer a screening of the film “Light to the World,” at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 25, at the Varsity Theater, 166 E. Main St., Ashland. The film showcases Baha’-u-llah and his teachings of Oneness and Unity as told through the transforming accounts of people from diverse nation. Admission is free.
