St. Martin’s Episcopal

St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 95 Cleveland St., Shady Cove, will open its food pantry from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 30, and will hold Good Friday services at 2 p.m. Holy Eucharist will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. First Presbyterian Church of Central Point

First Presbyterian Church of Central Point, 456 W. Pine St., will offer a Good Friday Stations of the Cross service at 7 p.m., Friday, March 30. An Easter sunrise service will be held in the church parking lot at 6:30 a.m. Sunday. A children’s Easter egg hunt will take place at 9:30 a.m. with crafts for the children following the hunt. Easter worship includes children flowering the cross, Holy Communion and special music by the Shepherd’s Bell Choir. Child care is provided during the service.

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church

Holy Week continues at 3 p.m. Friday, March 30, for Good Friday children’s passion service, and at 7 p.m. for Good Friday worship at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 140 N. Oakdale Ave., Medford. The Altar Guild will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 31, in the parish hall to arrange flowers to decorate the sanctuary. Holy Eucharist will be celebrated at 8 and 10 a.m. on Easter. Trinity Episcopal Church, Ashland

Good Friday services at Trinity Episcopal Church, 44 N. Second St., Ashland, will begin with Morning Prayer and Repositioning of the Blessed Sacrament at 8 a.m. Reading of the Contemplative Way of the Cross will be held at 11 a.m. Good Friday liturgy with organ and cantors will be held at noon. The Rev. Janet Holland will offer the homily. Participants are invited to stay for quiet contemplation from 1 to 3 p.m.

Holy Saturday services include chanted Morning Prayer at 8 a.m., and the Great Vigil of Easter, with organ and cantors, led by The Rev. Anthony Hutchinson at 7 p.m.

Trinity will celebrate Easter with Sung Choral Eucharist with organ, choir, brass choir and cantors at 8 and 10 a.m. Celebrant and homilist at both services will be Rev. Hutchinson. A St. Basil Liturgy honoring the raising of Lazarus begins Orthodox Holy Week at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z. Great Vespers will be offered at 6 p.m. that evening. Orthodox Palm Sunday services begin at 8 a.m. Sunday, April 1, with Matins, followed at 9:30 a.m. by Divine Liturgy. A meat- and dairy-free Lenten potluck meal with fish allowed will be shared after the services. At 7 a.m. Monday, April 2, a Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts will be served.
