Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

Royal Hours begins at 7 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z. At 4 p.m. Friday, a baptism will be followed at 5:30 by the Theophany Vigil. At 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, Divine Liturgy will be served, followed at 9:30 a.m. by the Greater Blessing of the Waters in church. Great Vespers begins at 6 p.m. Saturday. At 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, Divine Liturgy begins early, followed by a potluck meal. At noon, everyone will proceed into Ashland, to the Fairy Pond at the top of Lithia Park, for the Greater Blessing of the Waters for the entire community.
