Faith Lutheran Church

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church

Advent Holy Eucharist will be presented in a combined service at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 24, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 140 N. Oakdale Ave., Medford. At 4:30 p.m. a family Christmas service with pageant will be held, and at 10 p.m., a Festival Christmas communion will be served by the Rev. St. Andrews Anglican Church

There will be a morning Christmas Eve prayer service at 10 a.m, Sunday, Dec. 24,  at 305 N. Fifth St., Jacksonville. At 5:30 p.m. the church will celebrate "The festival of nine lessons and carols," a night of classic Christmas carols and Bible readings. The church will celebrate Holy Communion at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 25.

First Presbyterian Church, Medford

A candlelight Christmas Eve service will start at 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 24, in the sanctuary. There will be singing, and Open Communion will be celebrated. All are welcome at 85 S. Holly St. in Medford. Pastor Murray Richmond will speak at the 8:30 a.m. informal service and the 10:30 a.m. traditional service on Sunday. The informal service features more contemporary music led by the Son Shine Singers in a casual atmosphere in the Fellowship Hall. There will be a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 24, at the church, 675 N. Keene Way, Medford.

First Presbyterian Church of Central Point

The Fourth Sunday in Advent will be celebrated Sunday, Dec. 24, at First Presbyterian Church of Central Point, 456 W. Pine St., with lighting of the Advent Wreath during a 10:30 a.m. worship service. There will be a Christmas Eve celebration with candles, carols and communion at 7 p.m. Special music will be presented by the choir and bell choir. Child care is provided during both services.

Christ Unity Church

The Rev. Rob Wheeler's lesson for the fourth week in advent is titled "Joy," and will be delivered at 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 24, at Christ Unity Church, 540 N. Holly St., Medford. Center for Spiritual Living Rogue Valley

At 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, Royal Hours will be read at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z. Great Vespers begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23. Divine Liturgy will be served at 9 a.m. Dec. 24, followed by Holy Supper, the final shared Lenten meal before Nativity. At 5:30 p.m. Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, the Nativity Vigil begins. A service for the fourth Sunday of Advent will start at 9:30 a.m. Christmas Eve candlelight services will be at 6:30 and 9 p.m.  Ascension youth will provide music at the 6:30 service, and the Ascension choir will be joined by the Rogue Valley Symphony Brass Quintet at 9. First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville
