Glenda and Murph Rosenstein are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married in a Unitarian chapel in Reno, Nev., July 2, 1966. For the first three years, they lived in San Carlos, Calif. Murph worked for Coit Drapery Co., and Glenda was a stewardess with United Airlines.
They moved to Los Angeles in 1969, where Murph started his own business, named Associated Business Properties, Inc., and Glenda continued to fly. Murph's two sons, David and Stuart, lived in the area, so a lot of time was spent with them.
After 20 successful years in L.A., Murph retired and they moved to Hollister, Calif., and lived on the Ridgemark Golf Course. After the death of Murph's son Stuart, they relocated to Medford in 1993. Glenda retired in 1996, after 35 years of a flying career.
Traveling to visit family and friends and vacationing on every continent around the world have been among the highlights in their marriage. Overall, it's been a great life for a 92-year-old Iwo Jima survivor and a 75-year-old sky goddess!
