Eugene "Connie" and Darlene Conlogue of Ashland celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with 25 members of their family at the Beachfront Rustic Resort in Brookings on the weekend of Nov. 9-11.

The celebration was hosted by their children, Mike and Lei Conlogue and family, Tracy Conlogue and family, Dan Conlogue, Karen and Neil Tally and family, Kathleen Mayfield, Ken and Sawyer Conlogue and Amy Jarvis, all of Southern Oregon, and Rob Conlogue of Beaumont, Calif.

Connie and Darlene also spent a week in Maui with friends of more than 50 years.

Eugene "Connie" Conlogue married Darlene Lefebvre on Nov. 9, 1957, in Long Beach, Calif.

Connie grew up in Houlton, Maine and Darlene in Compton, Calif. They met at the "Antonians" in Long Beach.

They moved to Ashland in 1972 with their five sons and two daughters.

Connie went to work for Dumas Linen Supply in Medford as a salesman/delivery driver. After working in the grocery business over the years, he retired from Pacific Linen Supply in 2002.

Darlene was a busy stay-at-home wife and mother, involved with her family's activities and being an active member of Soroptimist International of Ashland for 15 years.

In addition to their children, they have 11 grandchildren.
