Clinton and Mary Partsafas celebrated their 50th anniversary with a gathering of 50 people hosted by their children at King Wah Restaurant in Medford. Three of their wedding party were able to attend: Joyce Lent of Redmond; Carol Wolford of Central Point and Norm Renner of Medford.
On June 5, 1965, Mary Howell and Clinton Partsafas were married in Ashland. The couple went on to have four children: Linda (Don) Guches of Medford, Terry (Paulina) Partsafas of Medford, Connie (Glenn) Adams of Medford and Aaron (Andrea) Partsafas of Medford. They also have nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Both Clinton's and Mary's families came to the Rogue Valley in 1955. Clinton graduated from Medford High and Mary graduated from Phoenix High. The couple have lived in the same house in Medford since 1969. Clinton retired from Timber Products in 2011 after 47 years. Mary was active in the PTA and the children's sports teams.
The couple celebrated their anniversary with a seven-day cruise to Alaska in July, preceded by a week of salmon fishing for Clint with the couple's sons and sons-in-law. In February, they took a five-day cruise to Ensenada, Mexico.
