AGE: Charlie is a 6-year-old, handsome, tuxedo big boy. His favorite activity, which he considers an art form, is lounging.

PERSONALITY: He really appreciates being with you, sweet talk and head rubs … and he’s just fine doing his own thing, as well.

HIGHLIGHTS: Charlie is not crazy about other cats but has co-existed peacefully with them at the Shelter. He is looking for a low-key, loving home with humans who are looking for a couch potato companion.

AVAILABLE: At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Highway, Phoenix. Open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. weekends.

COST: Charlie’s adoption fee is $45, and includes a free wellness visit at a local veterinarian office. Charlie is neutered.
