Energy Trust of Oregon has named Medford resident Anne Haworth-Root to its board. Haworth-Root is co-owner and general manager of EdenVale Winery and Eden Valley Orchards, a destination winery, historic pear orchard and events center south of Medford.

Haworth-Root helped found the Oregon Wine and Farm Tour, an agritourism coalition of Southern Oregon wineries, historic farms and specialty food and cheese companies.

Energy Trust also added Anne Warrington Donnelly, a nonprofit executive from Coos Bay; Mark Kendall, an energy consultant from Salem; and Dave Slavensky, a manufacturer from Bend.


Stacie Grier has joined Junior Achievement of Jackson and Josephine Counties as assistant district director. Before joining Junior Achievement, Grier worked in business outreach and youth success with The Job Council/Southern Oregon PowerUp Academy. Grier worked previously with Kathrein Scala Division, a global equipment manufacturer.

Grier is scheduled to assume the district director's position Aug. 1, when current district director Mary Holbrook retires.


Larry Bowe has been named interim chief executive for Providence in Southern Oregon.

Bowe will serve in this role until a new chief executive is hired.

Bowe has more than 18 years experience in health care leadership, including 14 years with Providence ministries. He has served as chief operating officer and chief executive of Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital and Providence Newberg Medical Center, as well as the Columbia Gorge and Yamhill service areas, and Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, Calif. Most recently Bowe has supported the special projects division for Providence's Southern California region.
