Washington County marijuana dispensary raided

TIGARD, Ore. — A Washington County medical marijuana dispensary raided by authorities has hosted politicians for tours to advocate for medical marijuana plants.
The Oregonian reports that the Human Collective dispensary has been visited by Democrat Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum and House Republican leader Oregon Rep. Andy Olson.
Rosenblum visited the establishment while campaigning for office in April, then returned a month or two later with Olson as the leaders sought input on refining the state’s medical marijuana law.
But Washington County sheriff’s Sgt. Bob Ray says the dispensary sold pot. Oregon’s medical marijuana law does not allow for the sale of marijuana. Since September 2011, the establishment has done $1.7 million in marijuana sales.
Dispensary co-director Don Morse emphatically denies the establishment sold marijuana. He says the money that moved through the Human Collective went to growers.
