Warriors post shutout

The Rogue Warriors semi-pro team remained undefeated in the Oregon Football League with a 10-0 victory against the Springfield Buzzards at Spiegelberg Stadium Saturday.

The Warriors led 3-0 at halftime on Jason McGregor's 27-yard field goal about midway through the second quarter.

Rogue quarterback Dan Woodward connected with Amir Barlow, a 2008 North Medford High graduate, for a 30-yard touchdown pass with a little more than two minutes left in the game.

The Warrior defense was led by rover Brandon Barnett and defensive end Leon Ireland. Barnett had three sacks and Ireland registered two sacks and three tackles for losses.

The Warriors play on the road against the Vancouver Vipers at 6 p.m. next Saturday.
