Volunteers remove invasive plants at Rogue River Plains Reserve

The Nature Conservancy will hold a volunteer work party from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 29, at the Rogue River Plains Preserve, located close to the Table Rocks.

The site protects 125 acres of prairie land and vernal pool habitat. Volunteers will remove the invasive species curly dock.

Snacks will be provided. Volunteers should bring water, wear sturdy shoes and be prepared to work outdoors. Call 541-770-7933, ext. 2, for directions.
