Two Talent men arrested in drive-by shooting

Police have arrested two young men from Talent in connection with a suspected gang-related shooting in Medford on Monday.

Gerardo Reyes, 20, and German Reyes Real, 18, believed to be brothers, are lodged in the Jackson County Jail, and police say they will charge them with six counts each of attempted murder.

A group of teenagers driving just north of South Medford High School was uninjured Monday when a passenger in another car leaned out a window and fired several rounds with a small-caliber rifle.

Seven bullets hit the car and windshield. No one inside was hit.

Police initially said the car fired at was filled with four teenage girls; they now say two males also were in that car.

We'll have more details later this morning.
