Two charged in ice pick attack in Klamath Falls

KLAMATH FALLS — Prosecutors say it appears a drug deal went wrong, and two men have been accused of using an ice pick to attack a third in downtown Klamath Falls.

According to police reports, 35-year-old Jeremy Cole stabbed the victim with an ice pick while 37-year-old Richard Tupper stood lookout.

Police say the victim received only minor injuries. He has not been named.

The two men have been accused of assault and criminal conspiracy and were booked at the Klamath County Jail on $200,000 bail.

Klamath County District Attorney Ed Caleb told KFLS radio that the fight appears to have been the result of a drug deal gone bad.
