Target has more groceries

The Target Corp. store in Medford has completed a remodeling project that expanded grocery offerings.

The Medford location is one of 90 Target stores nationwide that were remodeled this spring to dedicate about 10,000-square-feet to fresh food, including produce, packaged meat and pre-packaged baked goods, in addition to dry and frozen offerings the store previously offered, the company said in a news release today.

The chain now has more than 1,000 stores with the expanded grocery department, officials said.

The makeover, which started in March, also brings other updates, such as wider aisles and lower displays to the Medford store, the news release said.
