Take in 'The Scarlet Pimpernel' at Camelot

Celebrate the holiday season with a swashbuckling, romantic musical about the French Revolution and the battle for liberty, equality and fraternity.

A love story that is funny, inspiring, moving and passionate, “The Scarlet Pimpernel” has a book and lyrics by Nan Knighton, music by Frank Wildhorn and is based on the novel by Baroness Orczy.

The Camelot performance previews tonight and tomorrow before it opens Friday, Dec. 2., at Camelot Theatre, 101 Talent Ave., Talent. The run continues through Dec. 31. Evening shows are at 8 and Sunday matinees are at 2.

Tonight's show is a fundraiser for Soroptimists International, meaning the $23 ticket cost will go toward a good cause.

Thursday's preview is just $12. Regular tickets cost $23 or $21 for seniors and students. There’s also a pay-what-you-can performance set for Dec. 7. Call 541-535-5250 or see www.camelottheatre.org
