Take a tour through quilting's past

Follow a thread throughout history at an Eagle Point presentation about American quilting from 1800 to the present.

It’s at 4 p.m. at the Eagle Point Library, 239 W. Main St., and it’s free and open to the public.

Longtime quilter Dora Moore will talk about quilting through the centuries, an provide an overview of the types and origins of specific quilts, and show examples. Attendees are invited bring a family quilt to show, too. She’ll also demonstrate how to make a simple quilt block and several variations, and give out directions.

The presentation is part of a speaker series sponsored by The Friends of the Eagle Point Library.
