Suspects arrested in Klamath Falls homicide

Two men wanted in the shooting death of a Klamath Falls teenager have been captured in California.

District Attorney Ed Caleb of Klamath County says officers in Sacramento arrested 18-year-old Konrad Casebeer and 17-year-old Kyle Mahan on the Capitol lawn.

Caleb says Casebeer is charged with murder. Mahan was taken into custody for violating terms of his probation, but the DA says additional charges are likely. Authorities also arrested an 18-year-old suspected of helping the pair leave Klamath Falls. Richard Dallas Dean Cummings has been booked into jail on charges of hindering prosecution and compounding a felony.

The body of 18-year-old Antelmo Herrera-Jimenez was found Friday in a garden outside a home. He died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
