Storytime’s popping up all over

Another Rogue Valley city has revived library storytime.

Perii Hauschild-Owen, former children’s librarian for the Ashland Library, will read to children from 10:30 to 11 a.m. today in the small meeting room at Ashland Community Center, 59 Winburn Way, Ashland.

It’s free, but donations will be accepted.

Children around the area lost library storytime when county branches closed April 6.

Medford’s Storytelling Guild revived a Medford version of preschool storytime shortly after that.

It’s at 10:30 Thursdays at Medford’s Santo Community Center, at the corner of Jackson Street and Columbus Avenue, and it’s aimed at preschool children.
