Special Oregon Blue Book when it turns 100 in 2011

A commemorative edition of the first Oregon Blue Book is going to be published when the official state fact book and almanac marks 100 years in print in 2011.

The Statesman Journal reported the Oregon Secretary of State's office will print just 1,000 editions of the special 1911 version.

The Blue Book includes listings and descriptions of governments, agencies and educational institutions.

It also includes maps, state and elections history and information about the arts, media and other Oregon cultural institutions.
