Southern Oregon Repertory Singers get grants

The Southern Oregon Repertory Singers received $13,500 in grants to help pay for a person to work on fundraising.

These funds include a $7,500 grant from the Evelyn Nye Cultural and Scholarship Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation and a $6,000 grant from the Carpenter Foundation, which will go to support a new part-time director of development and marketing, filled by group veteran Joelle Graves.

The new position is funded for two years, during which the organization will work to strengthening fundraising efforts.

The Repertory Singers has been an all-volunteer 45-voice chorus group since 1985. They perform a subscription concert season yearly.
