SOU U.N. Club hosts discussion day

The Southern Oregon University United Nations Club sponsors a day of films and discussion onThursday in the Rogue River Room of the Stevenson Union at SOU. Admission is free and the public is invited.

Titled "Public Knowledge and Revolutions," the day's discussions will cover the state of social and political relations around the world, especially in the Middle East and Northern Africa.

Events begin with a potluck lunch at noon, followed by documentaries about Wikileaks, recent revolutions and the contexts within which they emerged.

At 6 p.m., SOU professors and students will discuss the nature of revolutions, their history and prospects.
