Singler, Real Madrid top Caja Laboral

Former South Medford High and Duke University star Kyle Singler scored four points in Real Madrid's 84-73 win over Caja Laboral on Sunday.

The victory keeps Real Madrid (14-3) at the top of the standings.

Felipe Reyes had 18 points and 10 rebounds and Carlos Suarez added 17 points to lead Real Madrid.

A 3-point make by Caja Laboral cut Real Madrid's lead to five points in the final quarter before Singler made a key block to help Real Madrid regain its energy. Sergio Rodriguez followed up Singler's defensive effort with an assist to Reyes, who finished things off with a dunk on the opposite end.
