Session set on county's economic future

The county's Committee for Citizen Involvement and county Planning Department plan a public forum next month to talk about Jackson County's economic future.

An open house is set from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and the forum is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Medford Branch Library, 205 S. Central Ave., Medford.

Topics the groups expect to discuss include economic diversity, agriculture and forest lands, natural resource preservation and recreation, public services and local resources.
