ScienceWorks keeps brains busy

ScienceWorks Hands-on Museum is open all week to keep kids learning while school is out.

Year-round exhibits at the museum at 1500 E. Main St., Ashland, explore energy, anatomy, chemistry, perception, motion, engineering and more.

Today's special event is the chance to build basic circuits, differentiate between conductors and insulators, and explore the forces of attraction and repulsion. It lasts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission costs $7.50, $5 for children ages 2 to 12 and seniors over 65.
