Project helps homeless find resources

Free assistance for homeless families and individuals, including lunch and access to essential services, will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 31 at the Medford Armory, 1701 S. Pacific Highway, Medford.

The Project Homeless Connect event is a collaborative effort among many local organizations, including the Rogue Valley Transportation District, ACCESS, United Way of Jackson County, and La Clinica.

Veterinary care, domestic violence services, legal services, haircuts, lunch and food supplies, benefits application assistance, ID replacement, clothing, hygiene products and many more services will be available.
