Project benefits theater group

A South Medford High School student's senior project takes the stage tonight in a benefit for a local theater group.

Senior Sarena Sona presents "What We Do for Love: A Celebration of Passion for the Performing Arts" at 7 p.m. in the high school's auditorium at 815 S. Oakdale Ave. Tickets are $7 general, $3 for children and students. They're available at the door.

The show is a benefit for the Oregon Conservatory of Performing Arts scholarship program for children and features singer Andrew Brock, vocalist Marcia Katzmar, musician and singer Eric von Radics, belly dancer Tiazza, dancer and choreographer Aisha Wand, The Dance Factory and the Jefferson Chorus.
