Prep football games on the local radio airwaves

The games of Southern Oregon high school football teams will again be heard over the radio airwaves throughout the fall.

Table Rock Sports Productions will broadcast the lion's share of games for the 18th year.

Football Friday night begins at 6 p.m. with the Table Rock Sports Game Night show, formerly known as Southern Oregon Sports Night Talk Show. Jay Reese will host the program, which airs on KCMX (880-AM).

After live game broadcasts, the Table Rock Scoreboard Show begins at 9:30 p.m.

Prep action starts at 6:40 p.m. following the kickoff show. Schools will be on the following channels:

North Medford, KCMX, with Demi DeSoto providing play-by-play, Tom Egge doing color commentary and Dane Smith working the sidelines.

South Medford, HANK (105.1-FM), with Joe Brett, Kelly Rasmussen and John McCoy providing on-air commentary and play-by-play.

Ashland, KTMT (93.7-FM), with Greg White, Paul Volz and Monnie Hedges.

Crater, KEZX (730-AM), with Terry Ross and Paul Speckbauer providing play-by-play.

Klamath Union/Mazama, with Mike Garrard, will air on AM-960.

Other schools on the air include: Cascade Christian, KDOV (91.7-FM), with Greg Stiles, Mark Perry and Mike Neilitz.

Grants Pass, KLDR (98.7-FM), with former North Medford play-by-play man Bill Jacobs.
