Sterling Savings Bank has named Scott Koch community manager for the Rogue Valley.
Koch will be working out of the Ashland branch, 512 Walker Ave., and will oversee five branches in the region.
Koch comes to Sterling from U.S. Bank, where he was a district manager in the California/Oregon District.
Nathan Sanford has joined Keller Williams Realty Southern Oregon as a licensed real estate broker. Sanford has nine years of experience building, renovating and selling residential homes in the Rogue Valley. He is a licensed landscape architect and a partner in a design build firm. Joshua Hanson has joined Beecher Carlson Insurance Agency as an account executive. Hanson graduated magna cum laude in 2010 from Upper Iowa University. For the past three years, he worked for TrueNorth Insurance, selling and servicing trucking industry accounts.
He will deal with construction, nonprofits, health care, hospitality and trucking companies.
Medford-based People's Bank of Commerce has announced two relationship banking hires: Jim Mallams and Jason Reno.
Mallams joins the Central Point branch, handling consumer and real estate lending, small business lending and opening new accounts.
He has nearly 11 years of financial experience and most recently worked with PremierWest Bank as a special assets officer, assisting in mitigating bank loan losses through asset restructuring with high-risk business clients.
He also served PremierWest as a loan officer, a senior personal banker and in operations.
Reno has joined the Medford office. He previously worked for J.P. Morgan Chase as a licensed personal banker in Eugene, assisting customers with new accounts and services, as well as coordinating consumer and business loans.
He also worked for Pentagon Federal Credit Union in Eugene, as a member services representative, and was a client accounts coordinator for Fisher Investments LLC in Vancouver, Wash.
Reno graduated from the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business with a bachelor's degree in business administration and holds a Series 6 securities license.
