Pacific Retirement Services has appointed Stephen L. Eichen as chief information officer, a new position. Eichen is a Fortune 50 and Big 4 pedigreed executive and consultant, having worked for global enterprises such as Nautilus, Deloitte & Touche and Boeing.
Eichen earned his master's degree in management and policy sciences and his bachelor's in biology from Stony Brook University in New York. He is a member of the Project Management Institute and is certified in production and inventory management by the American Production & Inventory Control Society. He is based at the PRS western headquarters in Medford.
Eichen's arrival is concurrent with new technology being integrated and piloted at PRS' new Mirabella Seattle. Among these are: an electronic medical records and census system; a point-of-sale system for dining services, which allows wireless tableside ordering by servers; maintenance work-order tracking via mobile devices; building security-access controls and environmental monitoring; and integrated-applicant tracking, personnel records, timekeeping and payroll.
Traci Martell, Yvette Fetsch and Channin Culley have joined the Ticor Title staff at 502 W. Main St., Medford.
Martell is part of the sales and marketing team. She has been in the industry for four years and previously was with First American Title in Medford. She earned a bachelor of science degree at Oregon State University.
Fetsch is an escrow officer who transferred from Ticor's Grants Pass office. She has 15 years' experience in the finance and real-estate industry. Her background is in bankruptcy, foreclosure, short sale and commercial real-estate transactions.
Culley is an escrow officer. She has 13 years' experience in the industry and most recently worked for Land America Title Co. in Medford. She specializes in rural, residential, commercial and new construction transactions. Her regional focus during the past three years was in the Upper Rogue area.

Peterson Machinery announced it reorganized its Medford-area equipment sales and rental positions to increase its flexibility. Charlie Morehead, machine-sales representative, now works with customers in Ashland and Jackson County, east of Interstate 5. He has been with Peterson five years and was a heavy equipment salesman at a former Caterpillar dealership for 15 years before that. He has added machine rental to his repertoire.
Brett Crosier now handles machine sales and rental services throughout Josephine and Curry counties, southern Douglas County and west of the freeway in Jackson County. Crosier began his career in 1991 with a previous Caterpillar dealer after graduating from the Denver Automotive and Diesel College. He worked in the engine division for three years, then became shop foreman and later ran the truck shop. Crosier then switched to the sales side of the dealership and became a product support sales representative. He was Peterson's Salesman of the Year in 2006.
Ron Oliver and Ryan Urton have joined Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in Medford. Oliver was an agent with Northwestern Mutual from 1976 to 1984 before leaving to pursue other sales avenues. Urton is a native of Central Point. After spending about six years in the Air Force, he earned a bachelor's degree from Oregon State University, with a major in finance and a minor in general engineering.
