Peter Davidson has joined PacificSource Health Plans as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

He succeeds CFO Steve Ord, who will retire in April. Davidson reports to PacificSource president and chief executive Ken Provencher.

For the past 10 years, Davidson served as the chief executive officer of Oregon Medical Group, a regional health-care company that includes a 105-provider multi-specialty group practice. He is a certified public accountant with extensive experience in consulting and accounting. Davidson earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.

Davidson will direct the financial planning, accounting, investment and reporting practices for PacificSource Health Plans and its subsidiaries.

Peterson Machinery Co. General Sales Manager Michael Tougher received a "Patriotic Employer" award from the National Committee for Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve.

Tougher received the award on Feb. 25 from ESGR representative Col. Richard McReynolds, Ret., in recognition for his support of Staff Sgt. Greg Weston, of the U.S. Army Reserve, when Weston was an employee of the dealership's Medford store.

Aimee Laiwa has joined the RE/MAX Realty Group in Medford.

She has been a licensed Realtor for three years in Southern Oregon. Before that she was a police technician. She works with buyers and sellers and may be reached at 601-6500.


Country Financial agent Clint Berkey of Medford was named a "2008 Master Agent" for the organization.

Berkey is among 52 agents selected. It is the second time Berkey has been named a master agent.

Berkey, who began his career in 1998, is among a group of more than 300 top Country agents and agency managers who qualified for the award.

Charles "Jake" Jakobosky has joined the Medford office of RE/MAX Realty Group in Medford.

The former Exit Realty agent has been a Realtor for nearly four years representing buyers and sellers. Jakobosky is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Club, attended the University of Guam and speaks Japanese and Tagalog. He is a member of the Realtor Board of Ethics Committee, Central Point Advisory Committee and Central Point Chamber of Commerce. He can be reached at 973-5253.


Daniel Perry has joined the design and sales staff at Larson's Home Furnishings.

He previously worked five years with Taylor Woodrow of London, first in purchasing, and later in sales. He also worked at Ethan Allen's Flagship Design Center. Among his past clients are Disney, HGTV's "Dream House" and ABC's "Extreme Makeover — Home Edition."
