Oregon's price of gas 54 cents higher than national average

PORTLAND, Ore. — The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Oregon is $4.23.

That's up 6 cents in a week and 17 cents in a month. It's 54 cents higher than the national average, which dropped 4 cents in the past week to $3.69.

Portland $4.20, Salem $4.20, Eugene-Springfield $4.26, Medford-Ashland $4.27.
