Music from one end to the other

You can sit on the grass and soak up the sounds from one end of the valley to the other tonight.

On the inexpensive side, the Ashland City Band brings its free weekly summer concert to the Lithia Park band shell at 7:30 p.m.

Audience members park it on the grass and can bring picnics and lawn chairs or blankets.

Out to the west, The Temptations and The Four Tops take Britt patrons back a ways in a 7:30 p.m. concert on the hill in Jacksonville.

Tickets are still available for the show at $29 for lawn seats, $41 to get a reserved spot on the bench.
