Medford discusses Carnegie plan

Medford's City Council is set to approve a $74,000 contract today to remodel the bottom floor of the old Carnegie library so it can be used for temporary city office space.

The meeting begins at noon in council chambers at City Hall, 411 W. Eighth St. It's open to the public.

New heating and air conditioning systems are set to be installed at City Hall for a year beginning in October. The city plans to use the bottom floor of the vacant Carnegie building as temporary office space for departments displaced by work on the new heating and air conditioning systems.
