Someone stole an 80-year-old man's tools, lawn equipment and truck out of his north Medford garage overnight, police said Tuesday.

Medford police said the man, who lives in a trailer park at 2385 Table Rock Road, reported the theft at 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Police determined the burglars forced open a roll-up garage door and entered the man's garage. They loaded tools and equipment, including a cordless drill, leaf blower, weed trimmer and battery charger, into the man's blue 2007 Chevy Silverado truck, then drove away. The license plate number is 917 FDM. About $1,000 of property, not including the truck, was stolen, police said.
